Register your team for Trailwalker 2023
The Gurkha Welfare Trust and Queen’s Gurkha Signals are delighted to launch sign-ups for Trailwalker 2023.
Taking place 22 to 24 September, the historic event challenges teams of four to tackle 100km across the South Downs in 30 hours or less. Test your mind, body, and camaraderie alongside serving members of the Brigade of Gurkhas.
“The Trailwalker is well organised and accessible for so many,” said Jessica, who participated with her team last year. “You only need grit, determination and good team camaraderie. Never have I felt so proud of myself; I encourage you to sign up for this amazing, unforgettable experience!”

This year marks the first year without Oxfam GB taking part both in terms of logistics and as a benefitting charity. As a result, all of the funds raised from the event this year will go to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, supporting Gurkha veterans, their families and communities across Nepal.
The Gurkha Welfare Trust’s Events Coordinator, Keta Hunt comments:
“The atmosphere at the start line of Trailwalker at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park is electric. It’s a mixture of nerves and excitement as the military, elite and civilian teams all ready themselves to become ‘Trailwalker strong’. Along the route, you can almost feel the relief as the runners and walkers are greeted by their support teams offering tea, jelly babies, and fresh socks! Emotions run high at Brighton Racecourse as the heroic teams cross the finish line and tuck into a traditional Gurkha curry, expertly cooked by the resident chefs from the Queens Gurkha Signals. We’re beyond excited to see everyone take on Trailwalker this year and enjoy the incredible experience!”
