GWT Chairman visits projects in Rumjatar
Gurkha Welfare Trust Chairman, Lt General Richard Wardlaw OBE, is currently in Nepal for the annual Attestation parade welcoming new Gurkha recruits.
During his visit he took time out to visit some GWT projects in Rumjatar, along with Col David Robinson and GWT’s Deputy Field Director Lt. Col (Ret’d) Yam Bahadur Rana.
During his time in the field, the General took in the local Area Welfare Centre, which is currently being retrofitted to ensure stability, one of our school extension projects, and an earthquake-resilient home being built for a Gurkha widow.
