Trusts & Foundations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent communication skills to join The Gurkha Welfare Trust as Trusts & Foundations Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and applying to trusts and foundations and other grant-making bodies with timely, well-written, and compelling proposals.  The Trusts & Foundations Coordinator reports to the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

Place of work: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salary: Between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hours with an hour unpaid break for lunch) It is essentially office based with occasional meetings out of the office. Time off in lieu is offered for any out of hours working.

Area Welfare Officer / Assistant Area Welfare Officer

We are currently seeking applications for the positions of Area Welfare Officers (AWO) and Assistant Area Welfare Officers (AAWO) at Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal to implement the Trust’s welfare programme for Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal.

Applicant must have served in the British Army or Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force and is happy to work in any of our Area Welfare Centers countrywide. The successful candidate will be appointed provisionally on the condition of gaining Nepali citizenship.
