Events and Challenges Officer
We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent communication skills to join The Gurkha Welfare Trust as Events & Challenges Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering the Trust’s programme of events and challenges and support individuals and groups undertaking them on our behalf. The Events & Challenges Officer reports to the Head of Fundraising & Communications.
Place of Work: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: between £25,000 – £27,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of work: Full-time
Probation: Six months
Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Area Welfare Officer / Assistant Area Welfare Officer
We are currently seeking applications for the positions of Area Welfare Officers (AWO) and Assistant Area Welfare Officers (AAWO) at Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal to implement the Trust’s welfare programme for Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal.
Applicant must have served in the British Army or Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force and is happy to work in any of our Area Welfare Centers countrywide. The successful candidate will be appointed provisionally on the condition of gaining Nepali citizenship.
