Jimmy’s Festival will be taking place in Ipswich on 21 and 22 July

This year the annual celebration of music & food features top acts including Paul Young and the Happy Mondays as well as various workshops, culinary exhibitions and plenty of delicious food.

You’ll find plenty of delicious food throughout the festival

Commenting on the partnership, our Head of Fundraising Samantha Cherrington said:

“It’s a great opportunity for us to meet some of the 20,000 guests, to show off the work our charity does in Nepal and most importantly, raise much needed funds for the brave Gurkha veterans who fought for our country.”

For almost 50 years we’ve worked tirelessly in Nepal to support Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities to live their lives with dignity. Our focus remains on the distribution of financial support, medical aid and community development work, such as school builds and water and sanitation projects.

Jimmy Doherty from Jimmy’s Farm said:

“We are really pleased with this year’s line-up – it’s the best we’ve ever had – and not just the bands. We’re delighted to offer The Gurkha Welfare Trust this role as our charity of the year, and be able to give them an opportunity to tell the story of the vital work they deliver across Nepal.”
