David Watson, Corporate Partnerships Officer at the GWT, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to Vigilance, who continue to show their support for The Gurkha Welfare Trust by once again becoming the headline sponsor of The Gurkha Golf Day at the stunning Bristol and Clifton Golf Course. Vigilance will also include two participating teams to take on other participants across the 18-hole course. Corporate sponsorships are extremely important to the Trust, helping to meet the costs associated with holding the events, meaning that more donations go towards helping our vital work in Nepal”.
Mark McDonald, Commercial Director of Vigilance, said:
“Vigilance is immensely proud to be the headline sponsor for the GWT’s annual Golf Day in June this year. Having worked closely with GWT for many years now, and its important work in the UK and Nepal, it has always been a fundamental partnership for Vigilance and aligns with our own traditions and heritage. I know all of those attending from Vigilance are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and to meeting new ones over some golf, and the best curry lunch around!”
