The Band Enchant at Leyburn

The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas put on a mesmerising show at Leyburn on Monday 20th November to an audience of over 450 people. The evening saw a compilation of traditional Nepali melodies, classical scores as well as more modern ensembles.

Raising vital funds for Gurkha veterans in Nepal

Situated in one of the most seismically active areas on Earth, Nepal is at risk of a severe earthquake at any time. This is why the funds raised from this year’s concert will go to provide Gurkha veterans or widows with Earthquake-resilient homes, to give them the security and shelter they deserve.
