Raise funds by selling on eBay – and declutter your home!

GWT Auction week is here, and we have a superb selection of items available online. If this gets you in the mood for buying and selling, why not use eBay to help raise funds for The Gurkha Welfare Trust?

Have a weekend clear out in your attic or garage and sell your unwanted items on eBay – you will be amazed how easy it is to raise money.

Supporter Tim Finch has already raised £190 by selling items on ebay, including a pair of WW1 RAF medals.

The two medals, a Victory and a British War Medal, both named to LIEUT W.F.WOOD RAF, were sold via eBay, along with a few other pieces of military memorabilia, generating a brilliant donation to help our work. Tim was delighted with the sale price donation to help our veterans and urges others to do something similar.

“I often think that ebay is an under used resource for charity fundraising. As you know sellers can donate a percentage of their sale price. Keep up the good work!’

It’s as easy as that – set up your item listing, select the option to donate to charity, choose The Gurkha Welfare Trust from the list of charities and pick your donation percentage.
