Rob cycles across Nepal again!

In 2020, Rob Abernethy cycled 2,200km across Nepal raising an astonishing £120,000 to assist with the rebuild project of Shree Prabha School, including 12 new classrooms, an expanded clean water supply, and improved library.

Two years on, he was back in the saddle again, cycling to the school from Kathmandu to raise funds for further improvements to the school. It took Rob just six days to complete this incredible journey across difficult terrain into the mountains of western of Nepal. Rob described the journey as ‘navigationally and physically challenging’, negotiating rough tracks, mud and rocks, and steep hills on his bike.

Rob arrived at the school on 10th January and was treated to an amazing welcome from students, teachers and the School Management Committee.

Congratulations to Rob on his success and amazing fundraising efforts!

In the video Rob talks about the challenges of his journey and the wonderful welcome he received at the school.
