Kenton Cool becomes GWT Ambassador

The Gurkha Welfare Trust is delighted to announce our newest Ambassador, Kenton Cool. Our Ambassadors work in partnership with us to help widen our appeal, reach new audiences, and promote our cause.
Kenton is one of the world’s leading high- altitude mountaineers, a leadership expert, keynote speaker and professional coach. With 17 Everest summits to his name, meaning he holds the non-Sherpa record.

Whatever the setting, Kenton has the rare ability to encourage individuals and teams to move beyond their perceived tolerance level: safely, efficiently and with purpose. Crucially, he believes that success only comes to those that are enjoying the process – “the summit is optional, getting back down is mandatory, owning the experience is the legacy – mindset is everything.”
Kenton has his first interaction with the Gurkha Welfare Trust over 10 years ago and feels passionately about the work that we do.
The Gurkha Welfare Trust is incredibly proud to have Kenton as an Ambassador, and we look forward to working closely with him to help raise awareness of our vital work in Nepal.
