GWT Annual Auction Week is a huge success!

The Gurkha Welfare Trust’s Annual Online Auction 2024 was a smashing success, raising a record £13,790 for the Trust.

We had some incredible items and experiences on auction this year, including a six-course meal at acclaimed restaurant The Laughing Yak, a two-night cabin retreat in Devon, a Forge experience with master Blacksmith and a Luminox Commando Raider series watch. As always bidding was intense for limited edition items such as a beautiful kothimora kukri and set of vintage Gurkha Presentation Tankards. The “Surprise Nepali Goodie Bags” were a hit too!

Auctioning these items and experiences ensures that we can continue our work in Nepal, providing vital medical care and financial aid to our Gurkha veterans and widows.

Thank you to everyone who took part, and congratulations to the winning bidders.

We’ll be back next August with a host of new items for you to bid on, kindly donated by our supporters and corporate partners.

If you missed out on the auction, head over to our shop to find some exclusive GWT clothing and gifts, as well as our brand new range of Christmas cards and calendars.
