Garden Galas 2021
Last year our supporters had fantastic fun hosting their Garden Galas!
We’ve listed a few of the most frequently asked below, but do get in touch if there’s something not listed.
No, you can hold your event at any time! We selected the last week in June, as it has significance to many Gurkha related anniversaries, but it’s possible to choose any date for your event.
Absolutely. We chose to encourage supporters to hold activities outside, not only because it’s lovely to spend time in the outdoors, but also to help keep events COVID-safe. If you would prefer to use a local park or indoor space, please feel free to. All we ask is that, whenever and wherever you hold your event, you adhere to the government guidelines in your area.
While we encourage supporters to use online giving pages, they are not compulsory. Online giving pages allow your supporters to easily Gift Aid their donations, reduce the amount of cash you have to handle, and provide an easy way for you to share your story. It also shows your friends and family how much you have collectively raised, and enables those that cannot attend to easily support your fundraising.
If you do not have an online giving page you can pay in funds raised here.
We have provided downloadable materials in order to reduce costs and save on printing.
