About the Artist
Shane Aquârt, who signs his art “Dready”, has a bright, colourful, whimsical graphic style, with a strong visual presence, influenced by his rich mixture of cultural experiences: a Caribbean childhood, education at an English boarding school, a Canadian high school, and a US college – Shane has the good fortune of being widely collected and displayed around the world.
“I’m a bit of a hippie artist, yeah, one who believes that the ultimate goal of life is to live happily (and righteously), and, I suppose, by buying into the art I am hoping that you can share in some of that joyfulness …”
