Our Patron

The Gurkha Welfare Trust is under the patronage of HRH the Prince of Wales KG KT GCB OM AK QSO PC ADC.

The Prince of Wales has been Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Gurkha Rifles since 1994 and was Colonel-in-Chief of the 2nd King Edward VII's Own Gurkha Rifles from 1977 to 1994. He has visited the Brigade on numerous occasions.

In 2015, the Prince attended our spectacular Pageant in honour of 200 years of loyal Gurkha service.
