Trailwalker 2019 – Your adventure starts here

Trek 100km across the South Downs in under 30 hours and help end poverty with every step. Organised with the Queen’s Gurkha Signals, Trailwalker is a unique opportunity to put your mind and body to the test.

Raise money, push yourself to the limit, and face a challenge you’ll remember the rest of your life.

This year the event will take place from 20 – 22 September 2019.

 The challenge

Trailwalker is the ultimate team endurance event. The challenge is to walk, jog or run 100km non-stop across the South Downs Way in under 30 hours in a team of four, with a support crew of two members to help you get to the finish line.

Starting at Queen Elizabeth Country Park early on Saturday morning, the Trailwalker route takes you along the stunning and historical South Downs Way to the finish line at Brighton Racecourse. You will pass through 9 checkpoints along the course. The distance between the checkpoints varies from 6-13km.

From the second you sign up, the Trailwalker team will support you with communications, advice and guides. The outstanding Queen’s Gurkha Signals take control of the logistics and getting you safely across the course over event weekend. And you’ll be cheered along by lots of amazing Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust volunteers en-route.

Each Trailwalker team pledges to raise £1,400 for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust as part of their challenge. Broken down between all four walking team members, this works out at just £350 per person.
