Teams from the Gurkha Regiments lead the charge\, but thousands of competitors take part from all age groups and levels of experience. \nNothing will beat the feeling of walking over the finish line…except maybe that first bite of the Gurkha curry that will be waiting for you! \nRaise money\, push yourself to the limit\, and face a challenge you’ll remember for the rest of your life.  \nRegister  for Trailwalker 2026 Here \nThe Challenge\nTrailwalker UK is the ultimate team endurance event. The challenge is to walk\, jog or run 100km across the South Downs Way in under 30 hours in a team of four\, with a support crew to help you get to the finish line. \nStarting at Queen Elizabeth Country Park early on Saturday morning\, the Trailwalker route takes you along the stunning and historical South Downs Way to the finish line at Brighton Racecourse. You will pass through 9 checkpoints along the course. The distance between the checkpoints varies from 6km to 13km. \nFrom the minute you sign up\, the Trailwalker team will support you with communications\, advice\, and guides. We’ll get you safely across the course over the event weekend and you’ll be cheered along by an amazing team of volunteers. With our support\, you’ll find the strength you never knew you had to get to the finish line. \nNew for 2026 – the Trailwalker Relay\nWith the new Relay option\, there’s less distance to cover but it will really put your teamwork to the test! Your first team will set off with the other participants at Queen Elizabeth Country Park\, with the first changeover after 28km at Checkpoint 3. The route is split into four legs of approx. 25km and you can have 3 or 4 people on each section. Then you all get to join the finish celebrations and enjoy the famous curry at Brighton Racecourse! \nA lifetime ambition or the ultimate corporate team-building exercise – either way you are going to be part of something amazing. \nFundraising\nWe ask your Trailwalker team to pledge to raise £1\,200 for The Gurkha Welfare Trust as part of their challenge. For relay team members we ask you to set a target of £300 per person.

These one-of-a-kind creations have kindly been donated to us to take part in our annual Teddy Bear Auction\, where all proceeds will go towards our work supporting vulnerable Gurkha veterans and widows in Nepal. \nThere is a super variety of beautifully decorated bears up for sale – preview the bears below. The auction opens on Friday 22nd May and finishes on Sunday 31st May at 10pm. \nWe hope these lovely bears find their way to a new home with you! \n  \nBid Now \nThe bears are approximately 34 cm tall (14.5 inches). DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an exclusive screening of The Last Burma Star\, followed by a panel discussion with historian Dr Robert Lyman\, and film creators Levison Wood & Alex Bescoby.  \nA moving documentary from Sky HISTORY following veteran explorer and GWT ambassador\, Levison Wood\, and historian Alex Bescoby as they seek out the last surviving veterans of the Burma campaign.  Their journey takes them to the border with Myanmar in search of one particular survivor\, a veteran from Burma who has never received proper recognition for his service\, to deliver his long overdue campaign medal\, the Burma Star.  With personal testimonies\, archival footage and expert analysis\, the film examines the experiences of those soldiers from the region who served alongside British and Commonwealth forces against the Japanese during the Second World War. \nFollowing the screening\, Rob Lyman will lead an engaging discussion reflecting on the shared experience of the British\, Indian and Burmese troops during the Burma campaign.
