Dhal Bhat
1.Rinse the lentils
2.Place the lentils in water and bring to the boil.
3.Chop chilli, onions and tomatoes and fry until the chillies are crisp. Add the ginger and garam masala.
4.Once the lentils are soft stir well and mash.
5.Add the chili, onion, tomato, ginger and garam masala mixture to the lentils and stir.
6.Add in a handful of coriander.
7.Serve the dhal on rice (Cooked as per packet instructions)
In Nepal, dahl bhat is normally served with an accompaniment, such as a little curried chicken or vegetables. Enjoy!
