Manipal Teaching Hospital Case Study

Established 10 years ago, it has a separate college and hospital and has a full complement of hospital facilities such as Children, General, Special and Private Wards.

The 700 capacity bed hospital is regarded as one of the best in the country. It offers excellent secondary and tertiary level medical facilities and is the main healthcare centre for the region. By virtue of its name, it produces many doctors and nurses every year.

There is never a shortage of hospital beds and it has become the key hospital for The Gurkha Welfare Scheme in Pokhara. The Trust has admitted around 700 patients for treatment over the past two years.
